Generally made from strong moulded ABS plastic, they are easy to fit and adjustable to suit almost any size of crystal or crosshead tap. They simply hook over the top of any X type tap, giving the user extra leverage for turning taps.

Some persons with Mobility Impairments prefer to bath. Many bathrooms have baths already installed, but these baths are not always easy to get in and out of. 3. Shower Aids

If you have mobility Impairment and prefer to shower, you will require a Showering Aid to assist you – and you will probably need to do alterations to make your shower more open plan and Wheelchair Accessible.

b) Shower Commodes
Shower commodes differ from standard commodes in two primary ways: 1. They are waterproof and rust-proof and 2. They always have wheels.
Shower commodes with wheels are designed for individuals with severe mobility impairments who require assistance not only in the bathroom, but moving between the bed, toilet, and shower. These versatile chairs can be wheeled from the bed, over the toilet or into the shower, reducing the need for multiple transfers and increasing comfort and hygiene.
Typically made from rust-resistant materials like aluminum, they include features such as a removable pail, flip-back armrests, and cushioned seats for added comfort and support. Some models are equipped with four caster wheels for easy maneuverability, while others resemble a self-propelled wheelchair with large rear wheels and smaller front wheels.

If you have recently undergone an operation, or are unable to sit up, you may need to use a Shower Trolley to be able to shower.
These trollies are designed to assist less able clients to maintain hygienic regimens when unable to rise or move independently.

4. Toilet Aids
