DiSA is dedicated to spreading awareness and promoting inclusion through a variety of engaging platforms and resources. Our TV, online, radio, and newspaper interviews help raise public awareness about disability rights, accessibility, and inclusion across South Africa.

Through our Education and Awareness Videos, we share real-life stories, expert insights, and practical guidance to inspire understanding and action.

3. Animations and Cartoons

Over the last 20 years Alan Downey has produced a number of cartoons and animation videos to raise awareness and show the lighter side of our disabilities and the people who don’t understand them. “Laughter is the best medicine”.

DiSA offers a range of online platforms designed to connect, inform, and empower the disability community in South Africa. Our Facebook Page shares the latest updates, news, and resources on accessibility and inclusion, while the Facebook Group provides a safe, supportive space for open discussions, advice, and community engagement.
