Accessibility Toolkit

Welcome to the DiSA Accessibility Toolkit page – where empowerment is just a click away!

As part of our One-Stop Access Solution to empower persons with disabilities, DiSA is currently developing an extensive Accessibility Toolkit designed to enable individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential.

The DiSA Accessibility Toolkit acts as a practical resource, featuring concise educational videos alongside over 200 resource pages available through the DiSA Information Desk.

These videos address a broad spectrum of accessibility solutions and “Life Hacks”, presented in clear and customizable packages to suit the needs of individuals, educational facilities, organisations, or employees of persons with disabilities.

Whether it’s adapting a workspace for an employee with a disability, modifying a home for greater accessibility, or understanding which assistive devices and technology to use and how to use it effectively, the toolkit offers real-world solutions tailored to the South African context and based on experience of over 30 years of lived experience of Alan Downey.

With the DiSA Accessibility Toolkit, empowerment is just a click away, but we need your help!

You can be part of this Amazing Tool for Accessibility – Please Support us to help us Unlock the full potential of people with disabilities Today!
